Thank you for the amazing place, Lisa! The place is exactly like pictures, squeaky clean, had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The location is very close to Franey trail and several other trail and lookouts. Wir haben uns im Whitecap Cottage rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Haus liegt wunderschön am Cabot Trail und bietet eine herrliche Aussicht. Es ist hell, sehr sauber und sehr hochwertig ausgestattet. Auch bei kühleren Außentemperaturen wird es drinnen schnell gemütlich warm.Besonders gefallen haben uns der gemütliche Wohnbereich, die beiden gepflegten, schön gestalteten Bäder, die bestens ausgestattete Küche und die bequemen Betten. Die Umgebung bietet viele schöne Ausflugs- und Wandermöglichkeiten.Lisa ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Ein wunderschöner Ort, den wir sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

We loved our stay at Whitecap Cottage! The space itself is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. The location is perfect for all the trails and local restaurants and sitting on the deck, listening to the crashing waves makes coming back “home” wonderful as well. This stay was truly AMAZING. The house was clean, super well appointed, and comfortable. It had all the amenities one could want and more. Plus view on the water, sound of the waves, and access to a long sandy beach. We felt like we were in the Caribbean. All this right next to amazing hiking in the park. We are wrapping up a 10-day trip to Halifax and Cape Breton, staying in various accommodations along the way. Hands down, Whitecap Cottage was the most comfortable, beautiful, and well-situated lodging in which we stayed. We loved listening to the sound of the waves while sitting on the deck, the sweeping view, taking the short walk to the (great!) beach, and enjoying all the first-class amenities. There is no detail left unattended—coffee, filters, dish soap and pods, laundry soap, beach chairs, everything is right there. It is a light and lovely space and as I write this from our rather soulless hotel in Baddeck, I miss it! We hope to return one day.
